Presenting an African Queen On Saturday, August 7, 2021, Voices
Magazine CEO & Publisher Charles Tubman Dwamina took the hand of his lovely partner, trusted confidant, and beautiful friend, Victorine Ambe, in marriage in a “Voices Magazine-style” classic ceremony. It was a royal wedding in the bride’s home tradition as one family member said in awe, “if the political climate was conducive in Bamenda City, Cameroon where the bride is from, I could only imagine the ceremony.” One of the presiding priests said that his highness Pope Francis prayed a blessing for this unique wedding. The 250 special guests included dignitaries, business and community leaders, and close friends. The pandemic restrictions limited the number of invitees, but those who made it experienced the fantastic royal ambiance, pomp & pageantry, great entertainment, and most of all, the dynamism of presenting an African Queen. The ceremony was carried live by KMTV-Liberia and across social media platforms.
